126. Scenes from the Second Seat on the Right

Sunday, January 4th, 9:00pm (two hours past schedule)
Matt and Andy (and Nancy and Suzie)

Matt and Andy are seated. Nancy and Suzie take a seat behind them.

Nancy: I wonder why the bus is so late.

Matt: (turns) I heard there was a computer glitch in the bus’s automatic route system and it got stuck in the middle of an intersection.

Andy: I heard a lion escaped from the zoo and jumped off a bridge onto the bus’s roof and they had to stop and wait for a lion tamer to come and get it off.

Suzie: I thought maybe the bus driver’s kid was sick.

Nancy: But, why wouldn’t they just get another bus driver?

Suzie: Maybe this is the only bus driver there is?

All pause.

Matt: No way.

Andy: Not a chance.

Nancy: I think it was the lion.

Next stop: Monday, January 5th, 8:00pm

  1. These all get me to think outside the box, and to laugh of course. I know you don’t intend to be off schedule, so why not schedule the posts to appear at the time you set for each stop, if you see my meaning. Great job!
